Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of ipv.bet, including the website, lookup tools, HTTP API, correction reports, and related documentation (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Sinlege ("we", "us", "our").

ipv.bet is operated by Krzysztof Mańczak, Gumna 2a, 64-420 Kwilcz, Poland, conducting unregistered business activity (nierejestrowana działalność gospodarcza) within the meaning of Article 5 of the Act of 6 March 2018 - Entrepreneurs' Law (Prawo przedsiębiorców), trading as Sinlege. The operator is not registered in CEIDG and does not hold a NIP or REGON number in connection with this activity.

By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and that you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ipv.bet provides IP geolocation and network intelligence derived from publicly available primary sources (including Regional Internet Registry allocations, BGP routing data, operator geofeeds, ASN metadata, and Tor exit lists), optional crowdsourced corrections, and administrator-reviewed overrides.

Results are informational estimates. City, region, postal code, coordinates, VPN/proxy flags, and similar fields may be missing, approximate, outdated, or incorrect. Country-level data may use a country centroid and a large radius. Do not rely on the Service as the sole basis for legal, safety, fraud, or geofencing decisions.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You agree not to: (a) attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law; (b) use the API in a way that degrades availability for others (including unbounded scraping or denial-of-service); (c) submit false, abusive, or unlawful correction reports; (d) use the Service to unlawfully track individuals, commit fraud, or violate export, sanctions, or privacy laws; (e) misrepresent the accuracy or source of the data.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access (including by IP or API key) if we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated or the Service is at risk.

4. Accounts, API keys, and administration

Public lookup does not require an account. Optional API keys, if issued, are personal to you; you are responsible for keeping them confidential and for activity performed with them.

The administrative panel is restricted to authorised operators authenticated via Sinlege OAuth. Only the designated administrator email may access it. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the panel, other accounts, or non-public data.

5. User reports and user content

If you submit a data-correction report you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, review, and incorporate the information in order to operate and improve the Service. You confirm that you have the right to submit the information and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Reports are reviewed; we are not obliged to accept, publish, or respond to every submission. Approved corrections may be stored as manual overrides and may later conflict with newly collected source data until an administrator resolves the conflict.

6. Intellectual property

ipv.bet, its branding, website, and software are owned by Sinlege or its licensors. Primary-source datasets remain subject to the terms of their publishers (RIRs, RIPE RIS, Tor Project, network operators publishing geofeeds, and others). You may use lookup results in your own applications subject to these Terms; you may not scrape or republish the bulk database without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that geolocation or threat flags are complete or current.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sinlege and Krzysztof Mańczak shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service shall not exceed one hundred euros (EUR 100) or the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Sinlege and Krzysztof Mańczak from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the Service, your user reports, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Changes and termination

We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue the Service or any feature with or without notice.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Poland shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may have mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
